2007
This video is from the premiere performance. Unfortunatelly the audio wasn't well recorded ... it's full of distortion (I turned off the sound of the movie). There is a audio-only recording below from another performance with better quality. It won't be syncronized with the video, but it will be close to it.
eDGe is a transdisciplinary project happening in the form of an audio-visual performance based on a interactive software of Augmented Reality (where physical and digital spaces converge). The body is the core of the performance from where both image and sound emerge. An interactive feedback loop is created in which the bodies affect and get affected by the sound and video that themselves create. The current form of this project happens in a stage performance form, where the dancers interact with the video system generating both image and sound. This is a project from the Swap Project team (take a look at their interesting work) for which I was invited to collaborate in the music creation.
Creation and video: Rudolfo Quintas and Tiago Dionísio
Dancers: Isabel Couto, Mariana Tengener and Antonio M. Cabrita
